Can Bimbisara Replicate Sita Ramam’s Success On OTT?

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is one of the big hits in theatres this year. Directed by Vassishta, this socio-fantasy drama was released amidst low expectations but went on to become the biggest hit in Kalyan Ram’s career.

During the success meet of the film, the makers stated that they will not release Bimbisara on OTT for 50 days. Finally, it is now gearing up for its digital release. Bimbisara will premiere on Zee5 on October 21, during the Diwali weekend.

People are waiting for its digital release for a long time and finally, it is going to hit the OTT screens in a few days. Going by the response, it will get a good response on OTT as well.

Bimbisara and Sita Ramam released on the same day i.e August 5. Both films became big hits at the box office. Sita Ramam premiered on Amazon Prime Video last month. It received a thumping response on the digital platform as well.

Now, we have to see if Bimbisara can replicate Sita Ramam’s success in the OTT arena. Let’s wait and watch.
