Tahsildar Kantara
He is a Mandal Revenue Officer. It is his profession. But his passion is arts. The man we’re talking about is Kothavalasa Tahsildar Prasad Rao. The latest is he has caught the attention of Guntur district collector and public by donning Kantara getup.
Going into details, Andhra Pradesh State Revenue Sports and Cultural meet sixth edition is being held at Nagarjuna University in Guntur. During this, Tahsildar Prasada Rao representing Vizianagaram district donned getup akin to Kantara and stunned everyone. That’s not all. Prasad Rao enthralled the gathering with his long monologue from the film. This won the praises of Guntur district collector Delhi Rao who appreciated him and took a selfie with Prasad Rao. Other revenue officials too heaped praises on Prasad Rao and his acting.
Kantara released as a dubbed film turned out to be a sensation. The film became a sleeper hit cutting across the languages and stood as one of the most profitable films of the year 2022.
