Other day, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur announced that Megastar Chiranjeevi is conferred with “Indian Film Personality Of The Year” award which will be honoured to him at the ongoing International Film Festival of India, simply IFFI, Goa 2022. Reacting to this, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his wishes to the Megastar.
“Chiranjeevi Garu is remarkable. His rich work, diverse roles and wonderful nature have endeared him to film lovers across generations. Congratulations to him on being conferred the Indian Film Personality of the Year at the International Film Festival of India 2022”, tweeted Modi a while ago, congratulating the Megastar.
In the wake of IFFI, Goa becoming a popular film festival which is actually co-collaborating with the likes of Cannes and other international festivals, receiving such an honour from the Govt Of India at this point of time will be elating Megastar Chiranjeevi for sure. And then, at a time Telugu films are roaring across the nation and RRR making noise internationally, recognition for a Telugu megastar is something unavoidable.
