Already Dil Raju declared the release date of Vijay’s Varasudu and Mythri announced that Balayya’s Veerasimha Reddy is hitting cinemas on the same January 12th. But then, where is the other main competitor, Megastar’s Waltair Veerayya? Except for the #BossParty song that entertained Mega fans, there is no other update from the team so far.
Whether that is the same day (Jan 12) or a day before or later, Megastar’s Waltair Veerayya is a confirmed movie for Sankranthi release. But then, apart from #BossParty song, there is no other promotion happening regarding the film. Neither the new songs are coming nor any character posters or promos are out. Not even a single picture of Shruti Haasan or a picture of the film’s main villain were released to date. How would the buzz around the film develops if there is nothing much?
But anyway, Megastar Chiranjeevi is popular for raking the buzz around a movie just with his speech at a pre-release event. That happened recently with “Godfather” at a time when everyone is crying foul about the film’s poor promotions, but his speech raised huge buzz for the movie. For now, the party of Waltair Veerayya is not enough, however, Mega fans are now looking to Megastar to do the magic.
