Vicky Kaushal’s latest film Govinda Naam Mera opted for a direct digital release. It will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16. The trailer was released a couple of weeks ago and received a good response from the viewers.
Ahead of its release, the makers released a new promo of the film earlier today. This teaser introduces us to the character of Govinda Waghmare, played by Vicky.
In the teaser, we get to see the life of Govinda, his nagging wife (Bhumi Pednekar), his extra-marital affair with another woman (Kiara Advani) and the rest of the people he meets throughout the course of the film.
Touted to be a comedy thriller, Govinda Naam Mera promises many fun moments and thrills. After watching the promos, many people also felt that the makers should have gone for a theatrical release.
Govinda Naam Mera is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. Karan Johar is producing the project under his banner Dharma Productions. Viacom 18 Studios is presenting the movie.
