BO: Telugus Going Craze Over Avatar 2!

Despite its slow pace, Avatar 2 clocked terrific word of mouth today as the film’s stunning action sequences, underwater fights and the thrilling climax has become the talk of the town already. Guess what, more than the Hindi belt or other southern states, it is being heard that the Telugu States are likely to contribute a major revenue share for the movie, here’s why.

Apparently, Avatar 2 has already done the unthinkable by registering almost ₹20 crores nett collection at the Indian Box Office through the advanced sale of tickets.

This figure is earlier surpassed only by the likes of RRR, KGF2, Doctor Strange and Brahmastra 1. Coming to the Telugu states, it is being heard that the film witnessed a spike in 20% of footfalls by the matinee itself as the movie’s visual spectacle has become the talk of the town.

And now reports are doing rounds that the matinee and first show collection in Telugu states might give Avatar 2 the biggest BO figures in India as a whole as the trade circles are revealing that almost all the biggest and happening screens in Telugu states are right now screening this movie only.

At the same time, Avatar 2 is cheapest only in Telugu states with ticket prices ranging from ₹200-300 across all the top tier Telugu cities, while it touched ₹2000-3500 in many other cities. That will also lead to more footfall here.
