Avatar 2: Disney Rolls Out New Plan From Monday

Though “Avatar 2” is not raking up huge moolah like its predecessor, surely the film is doing good at the box office considering the kinds of reviews it fetched. However, Avatar 2 is still doing the best at the worldwide box office and Indian box office as well, and here is the producer Disney’s master plan to woo the crowds from this Monday.

Apparently, Avatar 2 tickets were priced at almost ₹300+ in many Hyderabad theatres and there will be an extra charge for 3D glasses, and a convenience fee if booked online. But now, Disney is said to have instructed all the local distributors and exhibitors to fix this price to ₹150 only while the charges for 3D glasses will be extra, ranging from ₹20 to ₹50 in various theatres depending on their location.

Even on its 10th day (Sunday, Dec 25), Avatar 2 continued its terrific hold on the Indian box office as it posted nearly ₹25+ crores nett from all the languages across the nation. That took the total Indian BO collection of Avatar 2 to ₹250+ crores nett. Avatar 2 worldwide collection has already touched ₹7000+ crores, which is close to $850 million. The film is now marching towards a $1 Billion collection.
