Actor Nani believes that the limit has been over and someone had to take the big step. Wondering what that big step is, let us tell you what Nani himself has said.
Talking to a leading daily in an interview, Nani said, “We wanted to release the film in March. But due to lockdown, we couldn’t. We have been waiting for the theatres to open and it has been almost six months now. Someone had to take the big step to take the courage to release the film on an OTT and so finally, we took one.”
V movie’s release on Amazon Prime Video sans theatrical release was an unexpected one. None of Nani’s fans wanted the film to release on a digital platform but having no choice, the makers of the film, and the lead actors as well have taken the decision.
“The theatre experience cannot be beaten. But somehow, the change has to happen and someone has to begin. So I am happy that I am the one to be bringing the change and hoping to inspire others as well,” he added.
V has Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas, and Aditi Rao Hydari also in lead roles and will stream from September 5.
