What Happened To Veerayya Hindi Release?

Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya makers have proudly announced that the film will be released in Hindi. During the first media interaction of the film’s unit, the producers had announced that Veerayya would also be released in Hindi and it would be a good release. When prodded, the makers stated that the film’s title in Hindi is also the same as the original – Waltair Veerayya and the release would be simultaneous with Telugu on Jan 13th. However, with just only a week away from the film’s release, there is no buzz or word about Waltair Veerayya’s Hindi release.

In Mumbai too, there is no word about the Hindi Veerayya. None of the Mumbai media persons are aware of the Veerayya release. There is no update on the Hindi dubbing. Looks like, due to time constraints, the makers may want to avoid releasing the Hindi dubbed film simultaneously. If the film garners positive talk upon its release in Telugu, the makers may consider dubbing in Hindi later or selling the Hindi remake rights. We have to wait for an official confirmation from the makers regarding this.

Besides Chiranjeevi, the film has Ravi Teja in a prominent role. Shruti Haasan plays Chiru’s female lead. The film has an ensemble cast and a slew of comedians. Directed by Bobby, the film has heavy-duty action scenes and a good dose of mass songs. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.
