‘Anchor Pradeep is not involved in rape’

Last week a woman from Nalgonda district claimed that she was raped by 139 men. She lodged a complaint at the Panjagutta police station and later the cops filed over 40 pages of FIR. Also the police launched a probe on the complaint and looks like there is some progress in their investigation.

The other day, the police seized an independent organisation run by Raja Srireddy who is also known as Dollar Reddy and Dollar Bhai. The police are now in hunt of this guy as he is said to have called the victim about two days back and threatened her.

But Dalit leader Manda Krishna Madiga has stepped into the scene and added that his group has also investigated the rape case. He called on the media and informed that anchor Pradeep is nowhere involved in this crime on woman. But the main intention to name so many people, is to harass them and blackmail them to extort money.

“The woman claimed that anchor Pradeep and Kavitha’s PA have also committed rape. But in our probe, we learned that Pradeep has nothing to do with this case while Kavitha’s PA is said to have blackmailed the lady but did not assault her. We are informing these details to the media because in the coming days the police after their probe would also say the same and everyone would get an impression that big people have a hand in this case and so it is being deliberately suppressed,” said Krishna Madiga.

Further the dalit leader said, the main accused in this case are Raja Srireddy and Meesala Suman. Krishna Madiga demanded the police to catch these culprits at the earliest and punish them.
