Naga Chaitanya became quite choosy after films like Sailaja Reddy Alludu ended up without a trace at the box office and people criticising for the routine-formulaic content the hero picked. And then he has impressed all with his choice of films like Majili and the upcoming Love Story under Sekhar Kammula’s direction.
And in recent times, many speculations are heard about Chay’s upcoming film. Though director Nandini Reddy and her friend, producer Swapna Dutt, tried to set their combination a lot, the talented hero didn’t go for it. Earlier we have reported that Chaitanya didn’t like the fiction love story cooked by Nandini Reddy and asked for a better script though Samantha recommended the film to him. But then, Chay went ahead with Vikram K Kumar’s Thank You, which has a subtle message, romance and humour, than Nandini Reddy’s story.
It’s being said that Chay’s film with Nandini is always branded as a ‘combination’ as Ashwini Dutt’s banner will also team up, but then, Chay has picked content over combination as he wants to deliver back to back sensible and working films rather than some routine love stories.
