After the Covid pandemic, Mass Raja Raviteja has seen the best box office result while other big stars are actually struggling to get the numbers right even with better content. While “Krack” used to be the best of his career all these days when it comes to BO revenues, now “Dhamaka” has taken that position.
Before “Krack” happened, Raviteja has films like Raja The Great that collected ₹31+ crores share as the highest grosser of his career. Previously films like Balupu (₹29.3+ cr) and Power (₹27.5+ cr) also did well for him though they were all panned by critics for routine content. Then came “Krack” which collected ₹39.1+ cores ‘share’ in its lifetime and became the best film of his life. And now, Dhamaka collected ₹39.6+ crores ‘share’ and the film still has a week to utilise before the Sankranthi biggies arrive, thus becoming the best film in his career.
Despite the fact that “Dhamaka” has a pretty routine storyline, it is Raviteja’s mass-energy that made the movie work and the producers are going to mint huge from the total business. While the box office gives nearly ₹45+ crores to the producers, the satellite, digital and remake rights of the film will fetch another ₹50+ crores easily. With almost 100 crores of business for his movies, surely Raviteja is one of the big superstars we have now.
