Trailer of ZEE5’s ‘ATM’: Exciting, tense moments!

As a film director, Harish Shankar has told entertaining and commercial stories all his career. His OTT debut ‘ATM’, to be streamed on ZEE5 from January 20, is his most racy outing ever. That’s what its trailer, which was unveiled today, shows.

Jagan (VJ Sunny) lives life on the edge. He and his three underdog fellow travellers make a meal out of stealing money from others. Call it greed or whatever, their inclination for short-cuts eventually puts them in the harm’s way. They embark on a life-altering hesit, which eventually becomes a game of survival. All this has been narrated with loads of commerciality.

Subbaraju’s character is seen talking about birds that migrate as a survival mechanism. The dialogues (Vijay Muthyam, CP Emmanuel) seem to be inventive, as the teaser made a reference to a sophomaniac person having this delusion of possessing superior intelligence.

Director C Chandra Mohan and story-writer/creator Harish Shankar have a hit series up their sleeve. Ashwin S’s editing is sharp, going by the trailer. Prashanth R Vihari’s background music is expected to add to the rawness of the proceedings.
