As per trade, the first day BO collection of Veera Simha Reddy is double than Akhanda’s first day number. This is a huge opening. Akhanda collected nearly 23 Crs World wide Gross On Day 1.
According to the producers, Veera Simha Reddy earned a world-wide gross of about Rs 50 Crore on the opening day including the premiere shows and benefit shows. For the first time, early morning shows were screened for the film in Hyderabad. 4 AM shows were screened in about 60 screens in Hyderabad and this turned out to be fulls.
Krishna district Day 1 share is estimated at 1.65 Crore and Nellore raked in Day 1 share of 1.18 Crore. Uttar Andhra Day 1 share is pegged at 2.50 Crore and East Godavari is estimated at 1.71 Crore and West Godavari is estimated at 2.04 Cr, Krishna 1.5. Veera Simha Reddy total world wide Day 1 Nett is estimated at 32 Crore approximately. The final and exact figures of various regions are still awaited. Beating Akhanda’s Day 1 number is certainly a great feat.
In the United States, Veera Simha Reddy set a record in Balayya career as it raked in 750K USD through premieres and first day. This is the highest opening of Balayya’s film overseas. The mass elements and powerful punch dialogues of Balayya seem to have struck a chord with fans. Thaman’s thumping background score and songs have added to the euphoria of Balayya.
