#CriticsChoiceAwards: Rajamouli Hails Women Of His Life

“RRR” is continuing its terrific presence in Hollywood by making legends of the American filmmaking industry go gaga over the movie and its director, legendary SS Rajamouli. After sweeping respect at places like Golden Globes and NY Film Critics Circle awards, now the film won the “Best Foreign Language Movie” category at Critics Choice Awards. 

While accepting the award, the legendary filmmaker gave a terrific speech in the 30 seconds slot given to him. He praised the women of his life for making all these great things possible. 

“To all the women in my life; especially my mother Rajanandini who thought that school education is overrated and she encouraged me to read comics and stories. My sister-in-law Srivalli is like a mother to me, and she encourages me always to be the best version of myself. My wife Rama is a costume designer for my films, but she is the designer of my life. If she is not there, I’m not here today. And the smile of my daughters is enough for me”, said SS Rajamouli.

And then praised the great nation that gave birth to him. “To my Motherland India, Mera Bharat Mahaan, Jai Hind” he exclaimed with a lot of pride.
