I Know My Role Is Small, But Still Did Them Because..

Back in 2019, Shruti Haasan got one Telugu film luckily and that is none other than Raviteja’s Krack movie. While that film got released in 2021, she later got no big films here until she finally landed in Prabhas’ Salaar. However, even before that film was released, she signed two of his dad’s colleagues, and they are none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna.

In both the Sankranthi releases, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, Shruti is the leading lady, but then she hasn’t heavily promoted the films. However, the actress stated that she has signed these movies only for the sake of doing some big films. “I know that my role in both Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha is very small, and for songs, but then, I want to sign these big movies, so I’ve signed them”, said Shruti in an interview.

Apparently, the actress is not worried about the age of his heroes who are actually double in age as her. “If my directors believed that our pairing would look good, then it is their duty to make us look matching. I’m not worried about the age of the heroes” she adds. But then, the actress feels that Salaar is going to showcase her in the best avatar, while her other endeavours in Hindi and English are also turning out to be good.
