Some directors are known for introducing the best new heroines like how Maniratnam brought the best of beauties like Aishwarya Rai, Madhubala and more. Some are known for bringing super hot charmers like how Puri Jagan got Rakshitha, Anushka, Neha Shetty are more. And here comes a talk about super successful filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj.
This talented director is always roping in heroines who are either new or who have no fame at the given moment. While he roped in Regina Cassandra for Maanagaram, there is no heroine in films like Karthi’s Khaidi and Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, for Master he got newcomer Malavika Mohanan. And for the upcoming #Thalapathy67, he roped in outdated heroine Trisha and Priya Anand for star hero Vijay. Many are wondering why Lokesh Kanagaraj never goes after star heroines even though he has big budgets and big heroes.
Maybe that is how Lokesh wants to bring the total spotlight on the hero rather than heroines grabbing some attention, but his style of casting not-so-popular heroines is catching up with others too. That way production costs will also come down, maybe!
