This Bobby directorial became a sensational hit at the box office and emerged as the first hit of Tollywood in 2023. Even on the last Sunday, the film reported house fulls at various centres across the Telugu states. Meanwhile, fans are gearing up to celebrate 50 days of its release in a grand way.

When everything seems to be going well, it is now announced that Waltair Veerayya will premiere on Netflix on February 27. That means the film is landing on the OTT platform 45 days after its theatrical release. As the official announcement is out now, there will be a significant drop in collections. Fans feel that the makers should have held the OTT release for a few more weeks as the movie was doing well in theatres.

Meanwhile, it looks like no producer is following the 90-day window for the OTT release. Every Telugu film is landing in the OTT arena within two weeks-four weeks of its theatrical release. Thus, no matter how successful the film becomes, it may end up in the digital space within less than two months of its release.
