Tamil star Dhanush is making his Telugu debut with a coming-of-age action-drama film Sir directed by Venky Atluri under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The movie which generated huge buzz after the release of the trailer is set for release in a couple of days on February 17th.
The team opts for a risky strategy. Sir will have premiere shows in Telugu as well as Tamil. While the Telugu premiere will be screened tomorrow at Prasads Multiplex at 7 PM, the Tamil screening will also be held tomorrow for the media in Chennai.
Of late, filmmakers are not really taking the risk of screening premiere shows, with a fear of negative impact. Apparently, the makers are quite content with the way the movie is shaped. In fact, the trailer intrigued larger sections.
