Will Bollywood See Another Blockbuster This Friday? 

Already Bollywood is quite ecstatic this year as they scored a massive blockbuster with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan a couple of weeks ago. The film is running to packed crowds even after minting nearly ₹500 crores nett from the Indian box office. And then comes the question, will they repeat a similar fortune this coming Friday? 

Talented and handsome hero Karthik Aryan has delivered the biggest Bollywood hit last year with Bhool Bhulaiaya 2 as that film topped the charts of Hindi cinema in 2022. Now, he’s getting ready to entertain North folks with the remake of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster hit film Ala Vaikuntapurramlo, which is titled Shehzada and features Kriti Sanon as the female lead. 

Going by the songs and trailer of the movie, Telgu folks are not getting excited but it looks like Bollywood folks are liking the film well. However, most of the North audience already watched Ala Vaikuntapurramlo with subtitles, thanks to the iconic Butta Bomma step that made the film viral across the nation. That brings us to the point if this remake is really worthy enough to engage the audience freshly again. 

On that note, even trade pundits are worried about the openings of the movie as the bookings are just normal when the film’s release is two days away. We have to see what happens.
