With multiple states becoming their markets and OTT streaming giants ready to roll out gigantic amounts to own the rights, while the reach and stamina of Telugu film increased, that automatically resulted in the Everest-like hike in the remunerations of our star heroes too.
A talk is now doing rounds that Allu Arjun has ended up becoming the highest-ever remuneration getter in Tollywood. While the only star hero who has charged more than ₹100 cores so far is none other than Prabhas, for his multi-film deals in Bollywood with T-series, now the mega hero is said to have crossed that. For his film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the Pushpa star is said to have demanded ₹150 crores keeping his pan-India success in mind, and the makers have signed the deal for ₹125 crores.
Just in case if Pushpa 2 also works big time at the Bollywood box office like KGF2, Allu Arjun might ask for more, they say. For now, he is in the league of Prabhas who has become a pan-India hero with the Baahubali series, and started charging ₹100 crores per film. Other Telugu heroes like Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu might also touch this league due to their current projects, but much about their paycheck is not known.
