The Legend Himself Congratulates Keeravani’s Oscar Win!

MM Keeravani and Chandrabose walked onto the stage to receive the Oscars and it was one of the most memorable events for Indian cinema lovers. The world is looking at Telugu cinema now and the highly unexpected appreciations are making their way to Keeravani now.

Keeravani in his award-acceptance speech said, ‘Thank you, Academy! I grew up listening to Carpenters and now, here I am with the Oscars. Keeravani sang his mind in simple lines that go like, ‘There was only one wish on my mind, So was Rajamouli’s and my family’s! RRR has to win, the pride of every Indian! And must put me on top of the world!’

Now, one of the legendary vocal and instrumental duo, Richard Carpenter responded to Keeravani’s mention of ‘The Carpenters’. Richard made a video to congratulate MM Keeravani and here it is. Well-deserved appreciation indeed for Keeravani and the sweetest gesture from the legend himself.

The Carpenters were an American vocal and instrumental duo consisting of siblings Karen and Richard Carpenter.
