Just like February, even March is turning out to be a disappointing month for the Telugu film industry. Barring Balagam, no other film released in the first two weeks did well at the box office. Now, all eyes are on the movies hitting the screens this Friday.
Naga Shaurya’s Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi is getting released on March 17. Directed by Srinivas Avasarala, this film features Malavika Nair as the female lead. The trailer got a good response from the audience.
Especially, there are a good number of fans for Srinivas Avasarala among the younger generation. His directorial debut Oohalu Gusagusalade still enjoys a good repeat value among viewers.
The songs are soothing and the chemistry between the lead actors looks amazing. On the whole, there are decent expectations around Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi.
Meanwhile, the dubbing film Kabzaa is also hitting the screens on the same day. Directed by Chandru, this action drama features Upendra in the lead role. Kichcha Sudeep, Shriya Saran and Shiva Rajkumar played the other main roles in it.
Kabzaa’s trailer gave everyone KGF vibes. It is a period-action drama which was made with a huge budget. The makers are confident about its success. If it gets good word of mouth, it will definitely do well in Telugu. Let’s see if these two movies can revive the box office market which is in trouble for the last few weeks.
