Choosing the right backdrop for a film is always important and in recent times, films that have a perfect backdrop have clicked quite well at the box office. That’s the reason now Megastar Chiranjeevi and his younger brother Powerstar Pawan Kalyan have picked up terrific backdrops for their upcoming projects.
In Bholaa Shankar, we have Chiru picking up his favourite Kolkata backdrop yet again. Earlier he scored a super hit with Choodalani Vundi which has the same Bengali city backdrop and that will be seen in his Bholaa Shankar as well now.
Coming to Pawan Kalyan, he has chosen the backdrop of Mumbai for his upcoming #OG that will be directed by Sujith. As this film happens to be a gangster movie, PK is said to have given a go-ahead for the Mumbai backdrop, while sets will be erected in Hyderabad to emulate the same.
A part of the film will be shot in some real locales of the Bollywood capital as well if reports are to be believed. Surprisingly the Saaho director has earlier shot Prabhas’ film too in Mumbai.
On the other hand, while Bholaa Shankar is nearing completion, the shooting of #OG is yet to start, while Pawan has allotted only 10 days for the movie in the coming April.
