Mega Power Star Ram Charan announced a movie with director Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame a couple of months ago. Apart from the announcement, there was no other update about this film. Finally, Charan himself opened up about it and said that it has all qualities to appeal to western audiences.
Tentatively called RC 16, this film is currently in the pre-production stage. It is expected to hit the floors in the second half of this year.
Speaking about it at the India Today Conclave event held in Delhi, Ram Charan said, “I’ll be working on a path-breaking character which is better than my previous film Rangasthalam. It is a very rooted story. I will start working on it in September. I feel that this film has every possible factor to go to the western audience and move them as a rooted Indian story.”
Ram Charan’s statements are now exciting his fans to the core. More details about this film are expected to be announced soon.
As of now, Charan is working on RC 15 which is being directed by Shankar. Touted to be a political action thriller, this film is expected to hit the theatres during Sankranthi 2024.
