Vishwak Sen played the lead roles, besides directing and producing his fresh release Das Ka Dhamki. The movie which was made on a lavish budget hit the screens yesterday on Ugadi eve and the movie makes a strong business on its day one in Telugu states as well as overseas.
The movie collected big numbers from B, C centres as well, other than A class centres. It’s assured through the promos that the movie has adequate comedy, good songs, action, and emotions.
Coming to overseas business, Das Ka Dhamki raked in over $150K so far on day one, including premieres. This again is the biggest opener for Vishwak Sen in the territory.
Overall, Das Ka Dhamki’s day one figures stand at 8.88 Cr worldwide, which is career best for Vishwak Sen.
Seems like the Ugadi holiday helped the movie to do well on its opening day. Seems like, the movie will continue to hold well in its long first weekend.
