Love Today is one of the biggest hits in Tamil cinema in recent times. Made on a minimal budget, this film went on to collect more than 100 crores at the box office. It was a big hit in Telugu as well. The film was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan. He also played the lead role in it. We now hear that Sridevi’s daughter Kushi Kapoor will act in the Hindi remake of this movie.
According to B-Town sources, Love Today will be soon remade in Hindi. Apparently, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan will play the lead hero in it while Kushi will be seen as the female lead. A top production house will bankroll the project. An official announcement about the film and the cast and crew is expected to be made soon.
Junaid is currently acting in the film Maharaja, which is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. Sharwari Wagh and Jaideep Ahlawat play the other key roles in it. On the flip side, Kushi will be making her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix show The Archies.
