Most of the top actors and technicians in the film industry don’t deny the existence of a casting couch. Some of them even revealed their casting couch experiences. But most of the victims are women and in a rare case, a male actor opened up on his casting couch experience.
Ravi Kishan, the very popular Bhojpuri actor and also the MP from Gorakhpur shocked all with his revelation on facing the casting couch. Ravi Kishan is well known to the Telugu audience for his villainy in Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram.
Ravi Kishan was recently asked about the casting couch evil in the entertainment industry. Ravi Kishan said he had barely managed to get out of an incident. ‘Yeah, it happened and this is something that happens in the industry. But I somehow managed to escape. My father had taught me that I should approach my work with honesty. I knew I was talented.’
The actor-politician was asked to name the perpetrator, and Ravi Kishan refused to reveal ‘her’ name. Telling that she has become a big shot now, Ravi said that the lady asked him to ‘come over for a cup of coffee tonight.’ Ravi Kishan said he got the hint and refused to go. With Ravi Kishan not putting any names out, the internet is trying to catch the hints with some names of present-day ‘big shot women’ in Indian cinema.
Earlier, Bollywood star actor Ranveer Singh shared an intimidating experience he faced from a male big shot who asked him to be ‘smart’ and ‘sexy’.
