Nani’s Dasara Outshines Ajay & Simbu’s Films

Natural Star Nani’s Dasara took an earth-shattering opening with almost ₹38 crores gross from the worlwide box office as per the figures released by the producers. Even trade pundits revealed that the film collected almost ₹20+ crores ’share’ from the worldwide box office thus making Nani a Tier-1 hero from now onwards. What about the competing films from Hindi and Tamil that were released the other day then? 

As a tight competition to Nani’s movie, Ajay Devgan’s Bholaa, a remake of Tamil-Telugu blockbuster Khaidi, and Simbu’s gangster drama Pathu Thala has hit the cinemas. If we look at the collections of those movies, it looks like Nani has outshined both Ajay Devgan and Simbu as well at the respective box offices. Ajay Devgan’s Bholaa ended up raking ₹25+ crores gross from the global box office. Simbu’s Pathu Thala is quite low, collecting only few crores share from the Tamil box office. 

That way Nani’s Dasara has shown pure authority, whether it is Telugu states collection or Overseas numbers though it is yet to make strong numbers in both Bollywood and Tamilnadu. With Nani raking up more than what a senior star like Ajay Devgan could do that too with a successful film remake, surely Telugu movie lovers are getting jubilant.
