Samantha’s upcoming Shaakuntalam releasing worldwide on April 14th in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada and also in 3D, The film is helmed by supremely proficient, Director Gunasekhar and marks a whimsical tale of love set in the Kashyapa Kanumalu (Kashmir). Presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations in collaboration with Gunaa Teamworks, Produced by Neelima Guna.
Team is currently busy with promotions across India. And the makers delighted everyone today with the release trailer. The trailer begins with King Dushyant falling for Shaakuntala. She is afraid of being abandoned by love, but she loves King Dushyant, and their chemistry is breathtaking.
Samantha’s walking grace, Telugu diction, and effort in every nuance and expression amazes everyone. The grandeur and splendour of Dushyant’s Puru Dynasty making the film extremely exceptional. The trailer promises a whimsical love tale with high VFX, storyline and visuals. Especially the war episodes will be surprise for everyone. Setting the mood for the magnum opus, the trailer intrigues without divulging much about the story.
Shaakuntalam is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam.’ This prestigious project has its music composed by Mani Sharma. The ensemble star cast includes Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Bala, Gautami and many other notable actors.
