Tarak’s Bollywood entry with War 2 has turned into a sensation and the announcement left the fans on cloud nine. While the fans of NTR are excited to see their favorite hero in the popular spy franchise movie, there were some reports that the role NTR was offered was first made for Prabhas or Vijay Deverakonda.
A report now clears the air that NTR jr was Aditya Chopra’s first and only choice for War 2. The character is heard to be written keeping the traits of NTR in mind. War 2 is designed as a fight between two superstars Hrithik and Jr NTR. The War 2 team has been in talks with NTR for the last 5 months and things finally materialized on paper in March.
It is learned that if NTR refused to be a part of War 2, the team would have reworked the character and gotten someone from Bollywood to do it. War 2 is expected to go for the shoot in November 2023.
So, Prabhas or Vijay was not considered for the role opposite Hrithik Roshan, but it was NTR all along. War has Hrithik and Tiger Shroff in lead roles. The franchise earlier had Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. Tiger 3 will be coming for Diwali 2023; the next is War 2.
