It Took 10 Months For Desired Physique For Agent: Akhil

Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy’s spy action thriller Agent has set high expectations with its theatrical trailer. Meanwhile, Akhil interacted with the media to share some interesting aspects of the movie.

Akhil says action thriller is his favorite genre. “Although my last movie ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ was very successful, personally my favorite genre is action. I met director Surender Reddy during the first lockdown. We wanted to do something new and exciting content. We chose the spy genre for the movie in our combination.”

The young hero says he had to work hard to attain the chiseled physique. “It took 10 months time for me to attain the desired physique.” He affirms to have had his own inhibitions about whether he can pull off this crazy character. “This character behaves like a wild monkey. He needs to talk with high every moment. I felt it was tough because I’m a bit shy person.”

Akhil says Agent is a different movie from other spy action thrillers. “Agent is a very special movie. After the release, you will know why we picked a big star like Mammootty. This is not a movie driven by just one character. This is an intense drama between 3 characters. I fell in love with Mammootty’s character. It was so wonderful. The story takes place in a new world with a completely new setup. Definitely, Agent will give you a new experience.”
