Jagapathi Babu’s Hair-Dyeing Didn’t Help

Other day released movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, was met with a largely negative response from viewers. Despite the heavy criticism for Salman Khan’s performance in the film, there has been some success at the box office due to positive interviews from cast members such as Jagapathi Babu, Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde and Bhumika Chawla.

During a recent media interview, Jagapathi Babu got candid about his experience working with Salman Khan on their upcoming film. He spoke highly of the ‘Bhaijaan of Bollywood’ and shared how simple everything was while filming an action scene with him. While they weren’t able to complete the fight sequence due to Covid-19 restrictions and dengue, Jagapathi Babu also explained that there was no reservation regarding the role as Khan wanted him to dye his hair black and look younger as per character requirements – stating he wouldn’t fight someone older than himself.

In fact, Jagapathi Babu scored a mega success here in Tollywood in his second innings with the salt and pepper look he sported. But then, he is unable to crack the success code in other tinsel towns with the same. As salt n pepper look became a routine now with many heroes and villains sporting it, Jagapathi sounded like he altered it for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Though he painted his hair black for Salman, looks like things didn’t work out for him in Bollywood too.
