Samantha And Anushka For A Web Series?

Heroines turning producers is not new, but it is proper planning and business that delivered success for some of them. In a surprising combination, two actresses are joining forces to produce a web series or a movie soon.

Samantha and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma are heard to be in plans to jointly produce a web series shortly. The discussions are happening at the moment and it is going to be a female-centric project. Samantha will be playing a lead role and the two heroines are contemplating releasing it as a pan-India film or a web series.

Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Sharma is heard to be launched as the director of this project. While the other technical details are yet to be known, the cost of this project seems to be as big as 25 crore rupees. Samantha is banking on the stardom she earned with Family Man 2 among the Hindi audience.

Samantha acted in the Citadel series where she will be appearing in a few episodes with an Indian backdrop. After Shaakuntalam crashed without a trace, Samantha pinned her only hopes on Citadel. The two episodes of Citadel released so far have not done any miracles yet. It has to be seen of Samantha and Anushka’s joint venture works for them both.
