Known for the movies like Geetha Govindam and Sarkaru Vaari Pata Director Parasuram’s project with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya was publicly acknowledged about a year ago, but did not come to fruition amidst various reports and speculation.
Some sources said that the actor left due to issues with the script; others hinted at his dissatisfaction. The director, who had reportedly shied away from making significant changes to the plot, has clarified Naga Chaitanya’s stance in an exclusive interview.
The trailer for Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Custody was released the other day, 5th May and praised by fans and critics alike, showcasing impressive production and intensity. During a recent interview to promote the movie, the actor was asked about what are the issues with Parusuram have been? The hero replied candidly that “talking about this subject is a waste of time and that there is nothing to explain— no particular reason, just wasted effort. He then politely asked to move on to another question” as he believed all had already been said about the matter.
It appears that Naga Chaitanya encountered a setback with the director in question. After waiting for an extended period of time to receive the script and collaborate, he became frustrated when his efforts were not rewarded. Later Parasuram headed to Mahesh Babu, ditching Chay. Although understandable, this reaction has potential repercussions on his future opportunities; other heroes may hesitate to offer him scripts or contact him for their films due to his outburst.
