Chay Opens Up On What Nag Can Do For Him And Akhil

An actor’s career is a blend of successful films and failures. It looks like the Akkineni heroes are going through that rough phase with Nagarjuna’s Ghost, Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You, and Akhil’s Agent failing miserably.

Nagarjuna emerged as one of the most successful heroes in Telugu cinema although he experimented like no other hero. While the observers are wondering how Nagarjuna is not being able to guide his sons towards doing proper films, Chay clarified this.

During the Custody promotions, Naga Chaitanya says his dad Nagarjuna should not be blamed for the choice of films Chay and Akhil are doing. Chay revealed that Nagarjuna is ready to give any kind of support to him and Akhil. Chay said, ‘If I or Akhil ask Dad that we want to act in a particular director’s film, Dad will get into his car right away and visits the director’s office to set the combination.’

Chay further said that ‘Dad many a time asked which director we wanted to work with so he can send the advance to. There is no mistake of Dad in this. We wanted to become successful without depending on him.’

Nagarjuna did not depend on ANR for success and he later on became a star hero with his own choice of films. Chay and Akhil determined to find success on their own are good, but if they learn a little judgment regarding the scripts from Nag would be even better.
