Pooja Hegde, the dusky siren known for her performances in blockbuster movies such as DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Maharshi, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, doesn’t seem to have any movie opportunities in Tollywood at the moment.
The talented actress has experienced a sharp drop in popularity recently, as none of her last five movies, including Radhey Shyam, Beast, Acharya, Cirkus, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, have been major box office successes. These big-budget ventures included collaborations with famous actors in both Tollywood and Bollywood, but it hasn’t been enough to maintain her success.
While she is still getting offers from Bollywood, she hasn’t signed on for any Telugu projects in the past few months. On top of that, #SSMB28, a film she was scheduled to shoot last year, has gone into hiatus indefinitely. With no movie schedules currently lined up, Pooja is taking the opportunity to do brand endorsements and travel overseas for a break, but she is also eyeing item numbers, according to a source.
Pooja Hegde is looking for a career boost, similar to what Samantha managed with ‘Oo Antava Mava Oo’. It could be beneficial for Pooja to take a look at some special songs that could help turn things around, and we hear that she is looking forward to such songs now.
It’s hard to break back into the industry after a slump, often requiring one defining success. Let’s see if the Mumbai-based Kannada siren will shoot back to glory.
