Hero Hinted At This Wastage In Interviews Before Release

The broken arrow of Gopichand, Rama Baanam went on to become a disaster. With the outdated storyline and making with the same old formula script, Rama Baanam did not have anything new to offer. The hero Gopichand did his part in promotions and interviews before the release. It looks like he knew about what Rama Baanam is going to be and the highlights of the interviews are like foreshadowing the end result of the movie.

In one of those interviews, Gopichand said that there were no differences with Sriwass regarding Rama Baanam but they have discussed the length and duration. Gopichand told Sriwass not to shoot the unnecessary scenes as they would be edited out from the final copy. Sriwass ignored them and went on to shoot them all. Now the makers are sending them out as ‘Deleted scenes’ on YouTube in the name of promotion.

The deleted scenes are about 16 minutes in duration so far and if they were included, the final cut length would have been a lengthy 2 hor 38 minutes and there may be a few more coming. The budget went up for this wastage and the result is nowhere close to recovering it all.

Apart from that, Gopichand also revealed that an actor knows the film’s result while shooting itself, but there will be nothing they can change at that time. Gopichand further said that he will suggest to the directors about his opinions and some will ignore and some will take it. It looks like there are many hidden elements regarding a movie’s result in the promotional interviews.
