Vikram To Fight With Rajinikanth

Chiyaan Vikram has once again showcased his impressively versatile acting talents with his enchanting performances in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’. At 57 years old, Vikram proved that he can still captivate audiences like a lover boy. Through this role, his fans have been deeply enamored by the characters from Ponniyin Selvan.

The buzz in Kollywood this week is that T.J. Gnanavel has tapped India’s ‘best actor’ Vikram for the chief antagonist role in Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, ‘Thalaivar 170’. Sources say that Lyca Productions have offered an impressive single payment of 50 crores as remuneration to Vikram.

It’s interesting to note that Lyca was also behind PS-1 and PS-2, so they already have a solid relationship with Chiyaan. We’ll just have to wait and see if the deal goes through; if it does, then we will get to watch two formidable superstars in action!

But, the Enforcement Directorate recently conducted raids on eight offices of Lyca Productions in Madras. The company’s alleged involvement with money laundering has raised serious concerns among fans. It remains to be seen if the much-anticipated film features Chiyaan Vikram in a negative role and will begin production once any legal issues have been resolved.
