The 2018 movie has become a massive blockbuster in Malayalam and is now coming to Telugu, set for release on May 26.
The movie is based on actual events of the 2018 flash floods that occurred in Kerala and took away many lives. It has many star actors like Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kalaiyarasan, Lal, and Aparna Balamurali.
With the tagline ‘Everyone is a hero’, the trailer of 2018 shows how the people survived the night of two major cyclonic depressions that had been forecasted and the dam gates opened to flood the villages.
The story is said to be a touching tribute to the heroes of the flood times, mainly the fishermen who worked relentlessly to keep Kerala afloat. The narrative of laughter moments blended with gripping episodes to coming to theaters soon.
