The blockbuster film “2018” has achieved a remarkable feat by crossing the 200 crore mark at the box office. Producer Venu Kunnappilly took to his social media handle to share the exciting news with fans and followers. Reportedly, the budget of “2018” is approximately 5-6 times higher than that of a normal Malayalam film.

Amid the film’s success, the Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) has announced a protest by closing cinema halls in response to “2018” being moved to OTT after just 33 days of its theatrical run. Despite the controversy, “2018” has captured the hearts of audiences and emerged as a commercial success, surpassing the 200 crore milestone.

Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, “2018” boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Lal, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Narain, and more.
