Actor Akash Puri attended the trailer launch event of the upcoming film AH as a special guest. The movie stars Rahul Vijay and Archana Iyer in the lead roles. Directed by Sai Bali, the film is set to release in theatres on November 12. At the event, Akash Puri shared some interesting memories about his childhood friendship with Rahul Vijay.
Akash said that he came to the event especially for his best friend Rahul. Speaking about his friendship with Rahul, Akash recalled an interesting incident from their childhood.
He said, “I met Rahul when I was around 13 years old. Since then, he has become my best friend. Once, my father’s film was shooting in Bangkok. We were all at a party, and Vijay Master was composing the fight sequences for that movie.” He added, “At that age, I used to think, ‘If I become a hero, everyone will have to pack their bags and leave.’ I was very confident about myself.”
However his confidence changed after watching Rahul Vijay dance. Akash said, “After watching Rahul dance, my eyes opened. He made me realise that I was not the only talented person. There were many other talented people around me.”
He further said, “Rahul taught me a big lesson at a very young age. If I continued with that mindset, I would be the one who had to pack my bags and leave. From that day, I started seeing Rahul like a big brother. I truly consider him my elder brother.”
Since then, Akash has started seeing Rahul not just as a friend but also as an elder brother. The film AH is produced by Kanakar Rao Tonangi, Abhishek K and editor Gary BH under Star Box Stories and Ripple Slide Studios. The team is now preparing for the film’s theatrical release on November 12.
