After a lot of delays, Adupurush got approval from the AP government for the ticket price hike. While the Telangana government allowed Adipurush ticket price hike of Rs 50 only for three days, the AP GO mentions it allowing up to 10 days. The online sales started in AP and the tickets were going like hotcakes all over. But the confusion prevails on the benefit shows.
There is no mention of the benefit shows in the AP Government order. The maximum number of shows in AP can’t be more than five, for now. The bookings in all centers show only from 8 am shows and if there is an early morning show at 4 or 5 am, it has to be a sixth show. For now, there is no information about the benefit show but it has to be seen if there will be any last-minute relief allowing them.
While the fans of Prabhas watch the early morning benefit shows in Hyderabad and put up the updates on Twitter, the fans in AP have to wait until their shows at 8 am begin. Meanwhile, the demand for tickets in many areas is growing big as the countdown has come to hours for the first show of Adipurush.
If Adipurush gets a blockbuster talk, the tsunami at the ticket counter will continue for at least three weeks, as per the trade analysis. If that happens, the theaters which have been idle all these days will have housefull boards all over.
