After 17 years, Chiru pairs up with Trisha

Acharya was supposed to mark the reunion of the combination of Chiranjeevi and Trisha, but the actress had walked out of the film citing creative differences. However, after 17 years, the duo is back on the big screen. Their last collaboration was in the film ‘Stalin.’ Now, they will star in Kalyan Krishna’s next film.

Trisha has been enjoying a career resurgence, particularly after the success of ‘Ponniyan Selvan,’ and she has been signing notable projects. Recently, she wrapped up ‘Leo’ alongside Thalapathy Vijay.

The makers of Kalyan Krishna’s next approached Trisha, and she nodded to the project. The film will be produced by Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmitha.

The film is said to be a father-son story, with Chiranjeevi portraying the father’s character and Trisha playing his wife. More details about the film, including its title, are expected to be announced, and the project will be launched in August.
