US: Many Spy Premieres Canceled Due To Content Delay

Nikhil’s Spy movie was released in the US today. Spy was planned to have a good number of shows across the US, but many of them were canceled due to content delay.

Spy was canceled in many areas of the East Coast and audiences were issued rain checks along with ticket refunds. In some screens, the management screened the second half first and later canceled the shows due to the glitch in retrieving the first half. The Spy content was delayed on Monday and DCPs were shipped on Tuesday and for the delivery on Wednesday impacting many premiere shows in the US.

However, the shows in the evening are scheduled as planned and it has to be seen if the issue is resolved.
