Shankar Gets A Sweet Warning And a Gift From Kamal

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is currently working on the prestigious project, Indian 2, directed by Shankar. This film has been highly anticipated as it serves as a sequel to the iconic 1996 movie “Indian.” Meanwhile, in a pleasant surprise for fans, Kamal Haasan recently had the opportunity to watch a few scenes from “Indian 2” and was extremely pleased with the end result. So much so that he decided to express his appreciation by gifting a valuable watch to the film’s director, Shankar.

Kamal Haasan presented Shankar with a Panerai Luminor watch worth Rs 8,00,000 as a token of his admiration after watching the much-anticipated sequel. In a tweet, Haasan shared his thoughts and expressed his satisfaction with the film. He issued a sweet warning to the director, reminding him that he should not stop at this juncture thinking he is at his career’s peak stage but also chase more heights.

“I watched the main scenes of ‘Indian 2’ today. My best wishes @shankarshanmugh. My advice is that this should not be your peak. Because this is the highest stage of your artistic life. Don’t take this to the top and be proud. In search of many new heights.” tweeted Kamal Haasan.

Kamal acknowledged that while he enjoyed the scenes, he believed that Shankar still has the potential to achieve greater heights as a director. He praised Shankar for being at the pinnacle of his artistic career and encouraged him to continue pushing boundaries.
