Buzz: Babu Gets AR Rahman For Ram Charan

Setting up the right technicians is half the job successfully done for any filmmaker and it is looking like this one-film-old director is playing all the cards in the right manner at the moment. He has got none other than this legendary composer aboard for his sports drama that will go on floors soon.

For a long time, the director of Uppena, Buchi Babu Sana is doing rounds to Chennai and back, to meet this legendary composer and make him sign his film. Finally, it looks like the director succeeded in getting the legendary Oscar-winning composer aboard his next project which features none other than our global star Ram Charan. While Charan and Buchi Babu’s film is yet to be launched officially, they confirmed it long back and the pre-production got almost completed. Reports are now coming that Rahman has given a go for the film after listening to the final narration.

It’s very rare to see Rahman doing direct Telugu movies and a couple of times he backed out of Telugu films at the last minute. His most recent back-out was from Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa, for which he was the composer initially. Let us hope he will stay with Charan-Babu’s film till the end, and gives a stunning album for Telugu folks.
