Sree Leela Declined Dil Raju’s Offer?

Young hero Ashish, who made his film debut with “Rowdy Boys,” is set to entertain the audience with his upcoming film, “Selfish.” Directed by debutant Kasi Vishal, the film is produced by Sukumar Writings, Dil Raju, and Shirish’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. The interesting buzz is that young sensation Sree Leela was the first choice to play the female lead in the film. But, she had to decline the offer from Dil Daju.

Soon after the success of Pelli SandaD, Dil Raju offered Sree Leela the film. But, she had signed Dhamaka and a couple of other films already by then, because of which she could not be able to allocate dates for this film. Then, Dil Raju decided to rope in Ivana of Love Today fame to romance Ashish.

Ivana, who gained popularity with the Tamil blockbuster “Love Today,” marks her Telugu debut, and she will be playing the role of Chaitra, a financial analyst in the film.

The film promises to be a youthful mass entertainer, with Ashish portraying a mass character known for his reckless attitude, as depicted in the already-released posters.

The story of “Selfish” is set in the old city of Hyderabad, with Ashish portraying a typical old-city guy with a selfish streak. Alongside the main producers, Harshith Reddy, Hanshitha Reddy, and Ashok Bandreddy are serving as co-producers for the film. Music for the film is composed by Mickey J Meyer.
