Rana Daggubati was last seen as a solo actor in Virata Parvam which was released in 2022. However, after a point, Rana stopped signing films as an actor and he seems to be focused on the other arenas of filmmaking. Rana has groomed his own production house Spirit Media and has been producing films and series. As fans await his return to acting, he is on a roll, with the announcement of production ventures.
After announcing Hiranyakashyapa (where Rana is also expected to play the titular role), the actor announced a new production venture with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan have come together to breathe life into the much-anticipated film ‘Kaantha’. Directed by the talented Selvamani Selvaraj, the first look poster of ‘Kaantha’ was unveiled on Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday, making it a delightful surprise for his fans.
The movie is a collaborative effort between Spirit Media, spearheaded by Rana Daggubati, and Wayfarer Films, led by Dulquer Salmaan, promising a captivating multi-language cinematic experience.
Rana Daggubati revealed that ‘Kaantha’ is undeniably a project of exceptional caliber. He expressed his joy in being a part of this venture alongside the talented director Selvamani Selvaraj. Dulquer Salmaan is set to portray a never-before-seen role in this film, adding to the anticipation surrounding ‘Kaantha.’
Rana also have a couple of other projects in his kitty, as a producer and the trend says that it takes some more time for the fans to see him make an acting comeback.
