The collaboration between Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel for the film “Salaar” has generated massive expectations, given the director’s previous success with the “KGF” films, which became a phenomenon at the box office across India. Ever since the film’s announcement has come up, there are rumors about the film’s plot. We have already revealed that the film will have shades of Thalapathy and Ugramm.
Now, new details about “Salaar” have surfaced, revealing that the film will also revolve around a mother-son theme, similar to the central theme in “KGF.”
Prabhas will portray a character torn between his commitment to his mother and his loyalty to his friend. This emotional conflict is expected to add depth and intensity to the storyline, aligning with Prashanth Neel’s trademark style and approach.

“The story is set in the backdrop of a violent past. present and a war-torn city, where Prabhas is torn between his promise to his mother and his loyalty to his friend. Salaar means the king’s general, the one who leads the king’s army. “Salaar” is a story about the power of relationships and the consequences of one’s actions, told through a violent and emotionally charged narrative.”
“Salaar” will be released in two parts, and the first installment is scheduled to hit theaters on September 28, 2023. Shruti Haasan has been cast as the female lead in the film. Prithviraj Sukumar will be seen playing the role of Prabhas’s friend.
